The Under-15 Faversham Strike Force Team are taking the season by storm in a 4-1 win against Herne Bay Harriers.

East Kent Recycling are pleased to support Canterbury Rugby Club and also have provided the Under 8's with waterproof tops for the season. 

Following the theme of supporting our local sports and community clubs, we are pleased to be sponsoring Faversham Strike Force Football Club this season.

At the beginning of the Rugby season we have shown our support for the Canterbury Rugby Club through sponsorship and most recently we have also sponsored the Deal and Betteshanger Youth Rugby U10's with a contribution to a new kit.

The Head Offices for East Kent Recycling have now moved to Tilmanstone, to be situated with the largest of our Recycling Centres in the heart of Kent. Managing Director, Ky Campion comments "we have been working on the move for some time and look forward to the growth opportunities it presents".   

Its official, we are soon to be paperless! Over the past year, we have been working on a new system to revolutionise the way we do business. Gone will be the days of endless reams of paper to document transactions and in its place will be a sophisticated, data secure, software and hardware system.

It will come as no surprise that plant equipment plays a major role in our recycling process. There are some really impressive machines out there and we think we have a few to shout about!

Recently installed at our Tilmanstone Recycling Centre is a state-of-the-art 100m long, 13 bay Material Recycling Facility, otherwise known as a picking line which has accelerated capacity to an awesome rate! An impressive 250,000 tonnes of waste can run through the line annually resulting in 13 different segregated materials. 96% of the waste sent through the picking line is directly reused or recycled and the remining 4% goes to incineration.
